WASHINGTON – H.A.R.T. (The Homeless Animal Rescue Team) and the Paul Mitchell School present the inaugural Howl-o-ween Spooktacular Pet Festival and fundraiser.

The event takes place Saturday, October 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Paul Mitchell School, 568 W. Telegraph Road #4 in Washington. This ghoulish good time will include fun events for your two-legged and four-legged kids including trick or treating, kid crafts, face painting, bake sales, refreshments, dog washes and pet massages. Enter the best pet costume and pet trick contest or stop by the Pit Stop for canine educational information brought to you by Doggy Dude Ranch.

All proceeds benefit the homeless animals in Washington County and assist with vet bills, vaccinations and spay/neuter costs. For more information visit hartofutah.org, or call Lorraine 435-705-9835.

Since its inception in July 2009, H.A.R.T. has saved over 400 animals locally, spayed and neutered almost 200 and placed over 200 more in rescues across the country. H.A.R.T. believes it is crucial to raise awareness in the community and spread the message to “adopt and don’t breed or buy while shelter animals die!” Help support man’s best friend!
