Hurricane Tigers ready for the Wasatch Wasps in first playoff game

HURRICANE – The No. 1 ranked Hurricane Tigers (9-0) open the state playoffs with the third seed from Region 10 the Wasatch Wasps.

Wasatch comes in 5-5, losing their last game of the season. The Wasps are going to have a tough time keeping up with the Tigers. The Wasps only score 22.2ppg and the Tigers score 41.0. The Tigers score more points than any team in 3A and are second in the state.

The Tigers are led by running back Brian Scott who has scored 24 touchdowns on the ground this season. The Wasps do not have a running back that has ran for more then 300 yards this season.

Wasps quarterback James Delacenseris has thrown 20 touchdowns on the year.
