SALT LAKE CITY –  Today, U.S. Senate candidate Dan Liljenquist congratulated Senator Orrin Hatch on his victory* in Utah’s primary election.

“I offer my congratulations to Senator Hatch on winning tonight’s primary election. This race has been focused on the fiscal issues facing this country and I have appreciated the opportunity to meet and talk with the voters of Utah,” said Liljenquist. “Senator Hatch has my support moving forward and I look forward to helping get this country back on track.“

“I also want to thank the many volunteers who have donated so many hours of their time to our campaign. It has been an honor to work with so many passionate, energetic people and I look forward to maintaining our associations.”

*At 11:04 p.m. 89.21% of Utah’s precincts have reported, Hatch has received 66.76 percent of the votes and Liljenquist 33.24 percent.
