WASHINGTON – An all-terrain vehicle accident prompted a Life Flight response in Washington City Monday night.
Around 8 p.m., the St. George Communications Center received a call concerning a possible ATV rollover in the desert area by Fire Station 61 on Buena Vista Boulevard. The ATV’s rider, a 17-year-old male, had hurt his leg and required medical attention.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene and Life Flight was called in soon after. The teen was airlifted to Dixie Regional Medical Center.
The rider’s current condition and extent of his injuries have not been released.

Is it me, or are they starting to use lifeflight for way more than life threatening injuries?
They are definitely doing everything they can to bill the costs of having that helicopter to the insurance companies.
