HURRICANE – Two vehicles were involved in a rear-end collision Wednesday morning near the intersection of Telegraph Street/6300 West and State Street/state Route 9 in Hurricane.

A Geo Prism hit a Subaru Forster at approximately 9:40am, Sgt. Brandon Buell of the Hurricane City Police Department said. The Geo struck the back of the Subaru as it failed to stop at the intersection. The Geo sustained front end damage, but the air-bags were not deployed on either vehicle.

Hurricane City Police Department and Hurricane Fire Department responded to the accident. Minor injuries where sustained by each driver, said Buell. Hurricane Ambulance was called in as a precaution, but medical transportation was not required.
