Restaurants gear up for Southern Utah Culinary Festival

ST. GEORGE – Nearly 40 restaurants from St. George will be showing off and sampling their most popular menu items at the 2nd Annual Southern Utah Culinary Festival presented by Stephen Wade. The public is invited to enjoy the food, special events and live music from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Vernon Worthen Park in St. George.

Attendees will enjoy the amazing weather in the park and have the opportunity to choose the most appealing morsels to satisfy their cravings. Whether it’s watching chefs from Cappelleti’s elegantly craft a desert or watching select individuals battle in a pizza eating challenge by Riggatti’s, the festival truly has something for everyone.

“At the Southern Utah Culinary Festival we are sure you will discover or rediscover what is great about local food,” Adam Stuart, the festival director, said. “Ultimately, the goal of the festival is to display the superb cuisine we have here locally in St. George.”

I wish I could eat 67 tickets as everything will be so delicious! I believe it should read 6-7 tickets will feed a individual. I was absolutely stuffed on about 8 last year!

Well, this is certainly a case where an inaccurate article led to my family and I not attending. It really looked to me like it was gonna cost 67 bucks per person, which is patently ridiculous.
