ST. GEORGE — The Washington County Democratic Party brings Utah Democratic Party Chair Peter Corroon to its monthly Talk and Tapas Progressive social event. Corroon, who was elected chairman at the 2014 Democratic State Convention, has an extensive and impressive background in public service and business.
As chair, Corroon is traveling the state to listen to the concerns and issues that county parties are facing, and to meet his constituents. This month’s event takes place on Sunday, from 5-7 p.m. at the home of Zach and Casey Almaguer, 3310 W. 400 N. in Hurricane.
“Peter has spent his entire adult life serving the people and communities of Utah,” said Della Lowe, chair of the Washington County Democratic Party. “He is a tireless advocate for the underserved, often providing pro bono legal advice and services through his businesses and nonprofits. We are delighted to welcome him to Washington County.”
At Talk and Tapas, attendees will have the opportunity to ask Corroon questions about the direction of the Democratic Party in Utah and its priorities.
