MISSING: 14-year-old Kaylyn Renee Payne

ST. GEORGE — The Roy City Police Department is requesting the community’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old girl last seen by family members the night of Feb. 6 in Roy, Utah.

Kaylyn Renee Payne’s mother, Amanda DaSilva, said Payne climbed out of her window either late Friday night or in the early Saturday morning hours of Feb. 6.

“According to a few people she went to school with (at Roy Junior High School), she mentioned going to St. George,” DaSilva said Wednesday afternoon. “We have no clue why she would go there because we don’t know anyone in that area.”

“She does have a history of sneaking out to meet random guys she met online,” reminds me of a cousin of mine. She ended up pregnant at 14, but this was in the days before the internet

Prayers for her and her family. I can’t imagine how her parents, loved ones and friends feel this moment of uncertainty. It’s a crazy world. Sad to see minors victimized by online predators (if that is the case). Hope she is safe and her family can have comfort soon.

She doesn’t need any prayers. She needs some strict parenting and a good whoppin’. I raised 13 kids, I would know.
