
ST. GEORGE —The Rotary Club of Dixie Sunrise will be holding its first Evening of Elegance on April 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Abbey Inn, 1129 S. Bluff Street in St. George.

There will be a silent and live auction, dinner and live music. The Washington County Search and Rescue will be putting on a program during dinner. Some of the proceeds will be going towards equipment for the Washington County Search and Rescue.
Other charities and programs that will benefit from the proceeds will include:
- Polio Plus – Rotary International’s worldwide immunization program
- Clean drinking water in third world countries
- Vision projects in Mexico and Grenada
- Washington County Children’s Justice Center
- Dixie Care and Share/Switchpoint – assisting with food bank
- Dictionary Project – providing dictionaries to 3rd graders in Utah and Arizona
- Habitat for Humanity
Tickets are $50 per person or $350 for a table of eight. Dress is semiformal. Contact information is provided below.
