ST. GEORGE — If you wanted to get in touch with an agent at Keller Williams Real Estate today, you wouldn’t have found any in the office. They were out volunteering their time at SwitchPoint Community Resource Center in St. George as part of a companywide project called “Red Day.”
“Once a year, all of the Keller Williams offices around the country shut down for a day and do community service,” Keller Williams agent Steve Mangelson said. “This is what we chose to do this year.”
“One of our agents is pretty passionate about what SwitchPoint does and kind of recommended it to us,” Mangelson said. “We had about 50 of our agents out here, from landscaping to putting up a kid’s playground and shelves.”

The playground had been donated by one of the agents. Some volunteers took it apart, cleaned it, stained it, reassembled it and installed it at SwitchPoint. Other volunteers pulled weeds, placed hillside plants, and performed general landscaping around the yard.
SwitchPoint staff were excited and thankful for the volunteer work done today.
“They were phenomenal,” SwitchPoint emergency shelter Manager Kristen Clark said. “I just can’t say enough good about them. They were so kind and so helpful.”
Clark also said it was an all-around amazing day and thanked everyone involved.
