GRAND CANYON, Ariz. — Authorities have located a 27-year-old Tempe, Arizona, man Sunday who was reported missing at Grand Canyon National Park Friday near West Rim Drive.
Search and Rescue crews and investigators were able to locate and contact Justin Kremer near Mescalero Point, west of Grand Canyon Village, according to a Grand Canyon news release issued Sunday afternoon.
Kremer was transported back to Grand Canyon Village and will be transported to Flagstaff for further evaluation, the statement said.
The National Park Service Investigative Services Branch, Grand Canyon Fire and Aviation Team and Grand Canyon Search and Rescue Team were involved in the successful location of Kremer.
Over the past two days multiple agencies also assisted in the search for Kremer, the statement said, including Arizona Department of Public Safety Air Rescue, Coconino County Sheriff’s Department and the Kaibab National Forest.
As this report is published, no additional information is available, the statement said, as an investigation into this incident is still underway.
