The sixth season of the festival attracted record attendance and featured several films that will be opening commercially, according to a press release from DOCUTAH.

“In this, the sixth year of DOCUTAH, there is no doubt the Festival has come of age and continues to attract some of the most talented independent documentary filmmakers from all over the world,” said Phil Tuckett, executive director of DOCUTAH, as quoted in the press release. “With subjects as broad as revolution in the Middle East and as intimate as the story of a young man who spent years documenting his journey of gender identity, the Festival encompasses something for everyone and covers a range of emotions to captivate audiences.”
