Opinion: LIBERTY FREEDOM FOR GOD WE STAND!

OPINION — In all things, we have sought guidance, and desired to do God, our Father’s, will! We have studied the gospel of Jesus Christ, through his prophets, and try to understand the proper form of government, mostly the inspired US Constitution, the supreme law of the land. Desiring freedom, that all man might be able to exercise his agency.

The US Constitution lays out a very plain simple form of inspired government. We as a nation only need to follow it! Our founding fathers fought the battles for freedom and laid out the plan, the supreme law. We the People need to make beneficial use of it and defend it.

January 26, 2016, this week, LaVoy Finicum was assassinated by wicked and evil men representing our US government. These men in local, state, and US government feared the truths that LaVoy Finicum was standing for and teaching to his fellowmen. The truth about the supreme law of this land was more than these leaching bureaucrats could allow! The teaching of the true principles had to stop. Great fear needs to be put in the minds of We the People, great fear. (The work of the devil!) All is well. All is well in Zion. All is well in your government. There cannot be a cry go out for freedom, or for property rights, state sovereignty, local government closet to the people – government by the people – for the people. No, we cannot allow policing power be in the hands of We the People’s elected county Sheriff. We the great bureaucracies rule and have unlimited power over these lands. We feed our family, we buy our houses, our cars, and our offices are air-conditioned. We have guns, cars with lights, sirens, the best communication equipment, good health care and a lush guaranteed retirement plan! We have unlimited power. We can buy up everything and every man’s soul with their own money and with their 18 trillion dollar debt. We are prospering. We own the state government and their land. We buy and control their schools and their sheriff. We control the water in the river and under the earth. We control the airways, even the signals that pass around the world. We, the bureaucrat, are the supreme. We control, or at least we are about to control, the environment. We control all the endangered species of the creatures and plants. We control the elements in the earth and all the markets of the commodities of this earth. Yes, all is well in Zion!

Men like LaVoy Finicum, the Bundy brothers, those patriots and those who pray for freedom and liberty and support for people, such as women like Shawna Cox – they are all crazies! They are threatening our lifestyle, our unlimited and great authority, and our policing power. We are the majority. They are only a few producers, but with money and fear – we control the rest!

All of these great powers mentioned above, the US constitution does not give to the US government. In the 10th Amendment only a very few enumerated powers are given by the people to the federal government. All other powers and rights are reserved to the states respectively or to the people. (The Bill of Rights Article X)

With money and fear we will justify the assassination of LaVoy Finicum and make political prisoners of all that dare to lift their hand. (We can, we will kill.) This is our livelihood and we will protect our right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, so help me Devil!

The line is drawn between We the People. On one side, the bureaucrat, the hungry fat cat. On the other side, the producer and the protector that cares for and multiplies and replenishes the God given resources with his blood, sweat, and tears to protect and feed this land. The one who pours the milk in the fat cat’s bowl!

How did America get to this point? Is it because We the People want to take a lick or two out of the bowl? Is it because we the rancher, the livestock industry, accepted the Taylor Grazing Act as being constitutional? The livestock industry did accept the work of the federal government in mapping and adjudicating our preempted property rights that were created through beneficial use of the renewable resources, water and forage. The adjudicated lands are all within admitted states within the union of the United States. When we look at the large map of the United States we see that in the west the federal government claims over 50% ownership of the land. In a state, like Nevada, they claim over 90% ownership of the land. How can that be? Show me. Show me where it says in the constitution that the federal government can own mass areas of land? Only in Article 4, Section 3 of our constitution do We the People give congress unlimited power over land and congress had power to dispose of these lands. That’s exactly what they did when they admitted states to the union. The only other power that the constitution affords the government is Article 1 Section 8 Clause 17, here We the People give congress unlimited power to legislate over 10 miles square, which is Washington DC, and other property purchased with the consent of state legislature for military purposes and other needful buildings.

So again the question is, how can the bureaucrat have so much unlimited power within an admitted state? Who are the stewards of the land over this red area on the map? Isn’t the rancher the one with the adjudicated rights the steward of the land? We the ranchers are responsible for this great over reach of the federal government.   We, the rancher, signed contracts with the federal government such a leases, permits and licenses. We, the rancher, signed contracts giving the US bureaucracies unlimited power to manage our stewardship and we pay them a grazing fee to do this. This contract between the individual and the US government puts both parties in the federal court system because one party or the other breaches something in the contract. In the federal court system the resource user NEVER wins. Remember a contract has been signed that says they have unlimited power. This contract takes the constitutional jurisdiction and authority away from your local sheriff, away from your county government, away from state government giving unlimited power to the federal bureaucrats – BLM, Forest Service, US Fish & Wildlife, Park Service, EPA and etc. This is what LaVoy Finicum, my sons, Shawna Cox, and other patriots were out in the western lands trying to teach. This is why they assassinated LaVoy Finicum.

    Cliven,
is the reason anyone or any other people get killed in the future over your propaganda lies,
quit preaching your lies about the government and just go home and leave everyone alone.
    Cliven:
You are the head of the snake, I hope you and your cronies try and pull some more crap,
you are about as patriotic and pathetic as a free loader with a sign begging for money on the side of the road that hides his
identity in order to never serve your country.
Once the head of the snake is removed, it can no longer free load off of the government,
nobody wants to hear your false accusations in Saint George and we wish you would just go away
and leave everyone alone. The people in Oregon didn’t want you or your propaganda b.s. and
everyone wishes you would buy a boat with holes in it and you would go very far out into the ocean.

tcrider, Your words are my thoughts, much more eloquently written than I could have. Thanks for telling Cliven Bundy how I’m pretty sure millions of American feel about him. I urge the U.S. Justice Department to record a judgment for the amounts that Mr. Bundy owes taxpayers. I don’t think that’s been done, yet. Until it is, Mr. Bundy is unrestricted in conducting financial transactions, including selling any deeded real estate he owns. Once that judgment is recorded, then the unpaid debt must be paid, before any proceeds go to Mr. Bundy. Thanks, again, tcrider.

  • Bender January 30, 2016 at 10:59 pm

Your day in court is soon coming old man. Both criminal and church, I suspect.

  • Chas January 30, 2016 at 11:07 pm

Here in Oregon we don’t have a ‘choice’ but to look stupid over this.. These outsiders came in and have brought the light here.. But there in Utah you still have a choice..

Anyone still reaping the praises of Bundy.. Especially in spiritual regards, might want to ask their doctor if maybe it is time to change up the medication.

    • observer January 31, 2016 at 9:04 am

The only “outsider” up there is a Russian company who bought out your steel mills with the blessing of your localized state government in Portland. The the paper chasing began, then the inside question: How can we the State through the Federal governmental agency BLM acquire the land where billions of dollars of uranium and other metals & minerals can be found.

Yes Oregon looks pretty greedy over this. Yes Oregon needs to take a more affirmative approach to the land grabbing, and local governmental policies on land acquisition, and the “intent” of the players involved. Clearly the means to get what they want, includes bloodshed.

Be thankful for the “light” however it arrived, and be done with the talk and get doing, researching, and applying all constitutional rights to this very serious threat to America.

      • Ricardo February 2, 2016 at 4:40 pm

observer, you are grossly mistaken in your conspiracy theories. As badly as Mr. Bundy is wrong. There is no land grab. The BLM is NOT taking anyone’s land who has not willingly sold it to the government, usually at above market prices. Where do you terrorists get the crazy notions about our Federal government? There certainly are some problems with all levels of government. However, the land management agencies have molly coddled the commercial livestock industry so generously in true fairness and the spirit of compromise, all livestock should be removed from all Federal land for the next 200 years. The livestock operators have overgrazed, destroyed predator populations, destroyed watershed / riparian areas and been subsidized by taxpayers with grazing fee that are less than 10% of market rates on private land. You’re terrible for our country and need to reanalyze your mistaken ideas.

  • Stanley January 30, 2016 at 11:27 pm

    1. Pay your dang grazing bills, Cliven. $1.75 or so per animal per month is a good deal. Costs the govt. twice that to provide the service. Nobody likes a welfare cheat.

    2. LaVoy Finicum’s death is on you. God is not fooled. You filled LaVoy’s head with your insane Sovereign Citizen and Dominionist nonsense, and he bought it.

Have you no shame, sir ?

    • IDIOT COMMENTERS January 31, 2016 at 12:08 am

true. if anyone is a murderer here it’s old man Bundy

      • .... January 31, 2016 at 11:14 am

Cliven is nothing but a liar and a thug and a terrorist and a murderer oh yeah and a Mormon

    • observer January 31, 2016 at 9:40 am

There are ways for the federal government to collect on a contract for grazing. If they are not collecting, then clearly there was a legal problem with the contract. So once again, people make assumptions based on what they read, not doing research into what a contract entails, or what a grazing contract is. 37.5% goes to Treasury.

Finicum’s death is directly on whoever pulled the trigger that day and indirectly on who called that “Operation”.

God is not fooled in any matters. Please pick up a bible and start reading. One might find some very appropriate verses.

Here’s BLM’s news release on renewable energy on “public lands”. Read it closely and one will understand their “need for land grabbing”. Often wondered why Obama has not made a public statement about the occupiers and then I realize that he’s busy working on his “renewable energy plan”! Sounds great to most, but what does it really entail and who profits???
      http://www.blm.gov/wo/st/en/info/newsroom/2015/december/blm_marks_major_gains.html

Smoke and mirrors, I say. The only profiteers are the government and the dirty contracts made with foreign and domestic partners. Anyone who sells their soul in the paper chase, is accepting the consequences for the downfall of America and the future generations to come.

      • schrsty January 31, 2016 at 10:30 am

OK, I read it closely. What I didn’t do was apply some paranoid conspiracy theory to what is a pretty straightforward document.

        • ladybugavenger February 1, 2016 at 9:21 pm

Government is always in a conspiracy.

      • 42214 February 2, 2016 at 10:31 am

Observer, let me interpret what you said. ” Bla Bla Bla Bla”

    • SteveSGU January 31, 2016 at 9:35 pm

Yes, Bro. Bundy, Stanley has it right and you have it wrong. And most everybody commenting here in this conservative bastion can easily see why you are wrong. May you pay for your crimes, and may you repent and do things the right way after you get out of jail.

May Bro. Finicum’s death not be in vain. May you and yours come to understand why it happened and become rational about seeking solutions. No more threats and force. They don’t work, anyway.

    • Ricardo February 2, 2016 at 4:42 pm

Stanley, your comments are spot on, sir. Excellent points. I do not think Cliven Bundy has any shame. He is deluded by thinking his version of his deity is okay with what he’s done. You’re correct: “God is not fooled.” by an old fool.

  • JJ January 31, 2016 at 6:52 am

Isn’t it convenient that God just confirms your own bias and opinion? Because I prayed to God about this too and he confirmed me to me that setting up an armed militia to make a political point is evil. So at least one of us is misinterpreting God’s will.

  • delong January 31, 2016 at 7:22 am

Cliven, the congressional report released from the aftermath of the Sage Brush Rebelian in the 70’s clearly shows how you are on the wrong side of the constitution. You have blood on your hands for spreading such propaganda. History is not on your side. Pay your grazing fees from 1993 to present!

  • Giuseppe January 31, 2016 at 9:40 am

It was God’s plan for these men to fail. Now being convicted felons they wont be able to own or have in their possession any firearms. This little event was God’s way of protecting us from you.

    • SteveSGU January 31, 2016 at 9:38 pm

Thank God these inciters of chaos will no longer be allowed to possess weapons.

  • schrsty January 31, 2016 at 10:23 am

Rather than lying about the foundation of government, the rule of law, and the facts in this case, why don’t you just apply a Biblical principle and render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s. Every dollar that you don’t pay in grazing fees comes out of the pockets of real patriots who actually care about their fellow citizens. You’re nothing but a cheating fraud. And it looks to me like the fruit didn’t fall from the tree; how do you explain the half-million dollar loan Ammon got from the SBA? And how is he going to pay that back when he’s spending 10 years in a federal penitentiary?

  • debbie January 31, 2016 at 11:56 pm

there are three things mixed up in his argument. everyone keeps hangin onto 1 thing. if he had paid his grazing fees… then what problem would the gov’t have with him? would they have just left him alone? sure. would they have left the land alone? no way. lets say he pays those grazing fees.. yay.. their paid.. where r the animals gonna graze in two years when the land is sold.. or some new liberal beaurocrat at blm (and that is what is happening liberals are stacking the odds in their favor by mass applying for leadership jobs and then makes new rules and law and bylaws that change everything suddenly)…. the epa just contaminated 3 states doing exactly what would give them thousands of more acres.. most of nevada is now fed park lands.. and u do know that all our bonds to china are back by those lands? u do know our present president has quadrupled our national debt? u do know chinas economy is flatlining.. every piece of land the fed gov’t grabs, their nearly giving to china. no one is doing anything! no one is even trying.. we’re all just sitting infront of our computers and tvs like ZOMBIES letting it all happen. A few cowboys, with a weeks worth of newspapers everymonday, go out on quiet ranges and watch and care for fencing and wild animals to keep their thousands of cattle safe… they arent zombies.. they are sitting under stars, or the sun, just catching up on world news every week… they don’t have the giant cnn’s and fox’s media telling what to think and what not to worry about.. and they see whats happening.. and they don’t know what to do? they do this really attention starved try at SOMETHING at least.. using whatever concern they can to shine light on these things.. and sure enough… one of them dies. remember mountain meadows? how nice the mormons were to the methodist? wanted to look out for them, keep them safe.. their guns might cause them problems.. and took them.. for their own safety… then they were gonna walk them safely right out of the meadow.. and what happend they turned and in 30 seconds killed all men women and children standing right beside them.

Now lets look at that? IF GODFEARING MEN will do something so atrocious.. my gawd what are non god fearing beaurocrats going to do once they taken our lands and we can’t hunt for food and taken our guns too? how many times does this have to happen in history? germany, carthage, egypt, turkey, america, EVERYWHERE anyone is disarmed.. it might take 1 minute, it might take 1 day, 1 month, 1 year, or 1 decade, if you take them (guns) they (dictators) will come.. bernie might now be a dictator but his successor or his successor will be. socialism is a magnet for narcissism. the charmers always win the masses. will suck when your 70 or 80… someone shows up at your door and euthenizes you b/c your a burdon on society.. even tho you can still walk and talk. These r things going thru the minds of ppl like the bundy’s and lavoy’s… and this was a sad attempt at waking us up.. i feel sad for the whole thing. law enforcement will wake up.. they r sorta asleep.. there are alot of laws being broken by beaurocrats the leo’s will start to do something soon. i still believe in them.. i will tell u this too, if lavoy has any injury below the heart… then it was murder.. that would mean he dropped his arms towards the piercing injury and then they shot him for that. if he doesn’t have that injury.. then we’re stuck, i don’t like how it went down.. but it is what it is. i’m not sticking my head in the sand.

    • Ricardo February 2, 2016 at 4:49 pm

debbie, where did you get the idea that Bundy’s leased land was going to be sold out of Federal ownership. That is just NOT true. It’s a lie. Show me a source that is verifiable for such an outlandish statement.

  • beacon February 1, 2016 at 8:37 am

First, it seems clear that Finicum was willing to die rather than give up and he did. He wanted it, and he got it. I don’t like to see anyone’s life ended, but Finicum had a death wish and desire to become a martyr, which he has. As for Bundy’s interpretation of the Constitution, Article IV, Section 3, para. 2 tells me more than Bundy’s Article 1 reference: “The Congress shall have Power to dispose of and make all needful Rules and Regulations respecting the Territory or other Property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be so construed as to Prejudice any Claims of the United States, or of any particular State.” Between 1840 and 1976, the Supreme Court heard many cases and confirmed congressional power. I guess we can have them hear another one but whether it will settle this, who knows. Folks such as Bundy, Finicum and others want their way and are unwilling to acknowledge that their lifestyle must adjust to meet changing times. What they’re really doing is falling victim to people such as Ken Ivory and others who make them think they will benefit from the state getting the lands when in reality the exploiters will benefit.

  • .... February 1, 2016 at 9:22 am

Hey ! Where’s that idiot digger ? why isn’t digger in here defending that other idiot Bundy

  • Chris February 1, 2016 at 9:48 am

“adjudicated rights”?? That’s bull, Cliven. Every case you have initiated claiming non-existent “rights” has been adjudicated against you. You may be the most ignorant person in regards to the Constitution that I have ever read.

  • Chris February 1, 2016 at 9:52 am

I am really mystified by the Bundy’s reverence for the office of the county sheriff. There is absolutely no mention of sheriffs anywhere in the Constitution, and no mention of counties, for that matter.

    • Sue February 2, 2016 at 12:09 pm

Yea, but Cliven has friends that are County Commissioners.

  • Harold S. February 3, 2016 at 5:38 am

I feel divided right down the middle in regards to this entire situation. This was certainly not one sided by any means. I believe that both sides of this situation, the occupiers and the federal officers, are both to blame here. I do not feel that these occupiers had any legal right to do what they did, and I most certainly feel that the federal officers could have and should have handled this situation entirely different and achieve the same results, except for the shooting. Both sides were right and both sides were wrong. The thing I find so disturbing is the lack of willingness on both parts to effectively communicate with each other to resolve their differences. This shooting should have NEVER happened. These occupiers should have NEVER egged the federal government on like they did with their threats and challenges prior to this incident. No wonder these federal officers were on such high alert. Shame on the federal officers for such a strong use of force and a very dangerous and ineffective method to make a few arrests. I certainly am not going to pretend that I have all the answers, because I do not. I do know one thing, It doesn’t really matter if he was right or you wrong because a man is dead. This should have NEVER happened. The loss and pain that this man’s poor family must be going through at this time. My heart goes out to each and every one of them with the utmost respect and sympathy for their feelings. I just hope that this family can have a peaceful memorial service for this man without the conflict, hate and discontentment that has gone on here. Enough is enough. Have respect for this family PLEASE!!!!! This memorial service is a time for the family and close friends to lay their lost loved one to rest, not a time for more protesting. I just hope that the public will give this family the respect that they deserve.
