Hurricane Valley Concerts in the Park kick off with Chamberlain Boys

HURRICANE — The 2016 Hurricane Valley Summer Concerts in the Park will begin on Thursday with a performance by the Chamberlain Boys.

Concerts will be held every month on the last Thursday of the month through summer with the final concert on Aug. 25.

Concerts are free and begin at 8 p.m. at Hurricane’s Pioneer Park, 200 N. Main St. Audience members are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, family and friends; all are welcome.

The Chamberlains are popular performers in Southern Utah with their fun mix of genres. This performance will feature the guys in the Chamberlain Family and, as always, will be a fun, family-friendly concert.

Other summer performances will include local country singer Casey Lofthouse on May 26, popular folk artist Carolyn Murset June 30 and Chris Steglich Family and Friends band July 28. Toquerville folk singer Donna DuCrest will finish out the season Aug. 25.

Programs last about an hour and are a wonderful way to sit, relax and enjoy a summer evening. Make sure to set aside the last Thursday of each month and enjoy the Hurricane Valley Concerts in the Park.
