17th annual ‘Art in Kayenta’ festival showcases more than 60 artists

IVINS — Nestled in the Kayenta Art Village, the “Art in Kayenta” festival will be held Friday through Sunday and feature more than 60 juried artists. Now in its 17th year, the festival will showcase varied artistic disciplines – including painting, ceramics, jewelry, textiles, fine woodworking and photography – and is certain to entice and inspire the expected 6,000+ visitors throughout the event.

With the magnificent Red Mountain as the backdrop, organizers of the Art in Kayenta festival feel certain that visitors wandering through the village will be stirred by the vista, music, delectable fare and amazing artistry that surround the event at every turn. And, as always, the beautiful October weather is sure to put a smile on the face of every attendee.

The Art in Kayenta festival is free to the public and will include artist booths, a silent auction and live entertainment, as well as food, beer and wine.
