Southern Utah weekend weather: Sunshine, warmer temperatures after a day full of rain

ST. GEORGE — According to the National Weather Service, this weekend’s weather for the majority of southwestern Utah will mostly cloudy skies and rain for the beginning of the weekend. Officials are also urging caution due to the high possibility of flash floods.

St. George

Saturday

Mostly sunny with a high of 76 and low of 55, with west-northwest winds of 5-7 mph.

Sunday

Sunny with a high of 83 and low of 58, with east-northeast winds of 6 mph.

Cedar City

Saturday 

Mostly sunny with a high of 63 and low of 43, with north winds of 5-8 mph.

Zion National Park/Springdale

Partly sunny with a high of 66 and low of 39, with north winds of 5-9 mph. There’s a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m.

Mostly sunny with a high of 71 and low of 42, with north-northeast winds of 6-11 mph. There’s a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m.
