Driver sent to hospital after car goes off 20-foot embankment in St. George
ST. GEORGE — A woman was transported to the hospital after her car went off a 20-foot embankment and rolled Saturday afternoon. At 2:30 p.m. officers and emergency personnel were dispatched to the single-vehicle crash on 2800 South just east of River Road involving a white Nissan passenger car.

2 killed after single-engine plane crashes in Wayne County
ST. GEORGE — A single-engine plane crash in Wayne County left two dead late Friday morning.
The crash was reported by a witness shortly after 11 a.m. near Miner’s Mountain Road in the Grover area, according to a statement released by Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

Footprints of reptiles that lived before the dinosaurs discovered at Grand Canyon
ST. GEORGE — An international team of paleontologists has united to study important fossil footprints recently discovered in a remote location in Grand Canyon National Park.
According to a statement from the National Park Service, a large sandstone boulder containing several exceptionally well-preserved trackways of primitive tetrapods, or four-footed animals, which inhabited an ancient desert environment was discovered.
