Washington County Sheriff’s Office seeks info on woman missing since August

ST. GEORGE — In assistance with the Nephi Police Department, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information to aid in locating a woman who’s been missing since mid-August.

According to a press release issued by the Sheriff’s Office, Miriam Judith Salgado was reported missing by family members in the Nephi area after a few weeks of no contact.

Saldago is described as a 44-year-old hispanic woman with brown eyes, brown hair, a light-brown complexion and standing 5 feet, 2 inches tall with an average/medium build of 101 pounds, the news release states.

Saldago last had contact with police on Aug. 19. Her vehicle was later located as abandoned in a desert area near Virgin, Utah. Any individual with information regarding Salgado is asked to contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office tips line at 435-656-6644 or email [email protected].
