Glen was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and graduated from East High School in 1951. He attended the University of Utah from September 1951-September 1953, when he was drafted into the US Army. He served as a member of the Pueblo 1st Ward bishopric and on the Pueblo CO Stake High Council for 13 years. Glen enjoyed playing basketball with his sons and later became their coach.

He was a regional basketball referee. He truly enjoyed raising his children with his wife and enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, hiking, scouting and watching his kids participate in a variety of sports.  He loved serving on the High Council and traveling around the stake giving talks with his beautiful wife. Glen loved to paint with watercolors and became quite a talent. Many people are the thankful recipients of the beautiful stained-glass windows that he created over many years.

Glen retired after 37 years as a clerk for the Santa Fe Railroad. He also served as the Union Griever for 10 years with the Brotherhood of Railroad and Airline Clerks.

Glen is survived by his children Glen Corey (Penny) Hepworth of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Dale (Laura) Hepworth of Cumming, Georgia, Aaron (Luanne) Hepworth of Cortez, Colorado, Adam (MaryLynn) Hepworth of Santan, Arizona, Nathen (Lisa) Hepworth of Hurricane, Utah, with whom he was most recently living and daughter-in law Susan Hepworth of Nibley, Utah.
