“We empower people to take control over their health and decide what they want done, taking a lot of the guesswork out of the process,” franchise owner Julie Blasingame said.

If you have questions about your health, Any Lab Test Now can help you find the answers. Maybe the solution is as simple as eliminating a food allergen, or perhaps it’s much more complex.

Any Lab Test Now is a clinical testing lab offering more than 8,000 different tests ranging from determining blood type to analyzing genetic makeup to estimate a person’s likelihood for certain diseases.

“If you can think of it, we can test for it,” Blasingame said.

Any Lab Test Now has been serving the greater St. George area since 2010 and continues to expand its menu of tests. The lab now offers the COVID-19 PCR test, something which is required for traveling to many international destinations, with results available in less than an hour.

Any Lab Test Now screens for nutritional deficiencies and food sensitivities as well as a variety of conditions including Lyme disease, Crohn’s disease, celiac disease, tuberculosis, measles, cystic fibrosis and sickle cell disease. The lab can also test for exposure to mold, arsenic, lead, mercury and other hazardous substances.

Additionally, customers can get answers to life’s most personal questions with legally admissible paternity and DNA tests. Any Lab Test Now also offers comprehensive testing panels for sexually transmitted diseases including HIV and a variety of both legal and illegal substances.

Expecting parents may choose to find out the sex of their baby as early as eight weeks with 99% accuracy. Pet owners can even uncover the genetic makeup of their pooch with canine ancestry testing.

For many tests, the collection process takes as little as 15 minutes. Results can often be delivered the next day, although some tests require a bit more time. Any Lab Test Now is one of more than 170 independently owned and operated franchise locations and is affiliated with accredited labs throughout the country.

As a self-pay service, Any Lab Test Now doesn’t accept health insurance. However, customers may use their HSA and FSA cars to cover the cost.

Unlike medical labs, Any Lab Test Now doesn’t require a doctor’s referral. Anyone can make an appointment if they have concerns about their health or need questions answered. Blasingame said customers can check their thyroid hormone or testosterone levels in much less time and for significantly lower out-of-pocket cost than visiting their primary care provider.

The comprehensive female panel offered by Any Lab Test Now helped Blasingame discover she suffered from a life-threatening illness. After complaining of chronic malaise and tiredness to her doctor, who suggested it was merely due to menopause or stress, she decided to take matters into her own hands. The test results showed an abnormally high red blood cell count, which spurred her doctor to finally order blood work. Elevated levels of hemoglobin and hematocrit in her blood led to a diagnosis of polycythemia vera, a form of blood cancer, for which she immediately began treatment.

Blasingame knows her story is all too common. Many people experience troublesome symptoms with no obvious explanation. That’s where Any Lab Test Now can help by providing valuable diagnostic tools that customers can present to their doctor for discussion or keep for their own reference.

“It’s important that you take control of your own health,” she said. “Your doctor sees hundreds of patients, and you only see one doctor. Who knows better what’s going on with your body than yourself?”
