Bruce Solomon describes his long and winding road through life in the words of Jerry Garcia: "What a long strange trip it's been." Bruce "graduated" from the United States Marine Corps in October of 1969 with post-traumatic stress disorder after spending 17 months in combat in High I Corps. From there he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in social-psychology from the University of Utah, an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a master's degree in social work from University of Utah Graduate School. After working with the St. George Vet Center since 2012, Bruce went into private practice in fall 2016 as managing partner of Loose Cannon Social Work LLC. His attention focuses largely on helping people, and their families, who have been traumatized in various ways, whether through combat, physical or sexual assault/abuse, auto accidents, fire, tornado, bankruptcy, divorce, other relationships, criminal misadventure and the like.
