Jeremy Burson Smith passed away on March 8th, 2014. Jeremy was born on May 10, 1980, to Leslie Schneider Smith and George Lewis Smith Jr. in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the second of six children. Jeremy had a big heart. Even as a child he wanted to save the world. He was generous to those in need and would often house and help out friends who were struggling. Jeremy always took care of everybody. He had a special place in his heart for disabled people after caring for his disabled father. Jeremy was hard working and responsible. Jeremy loved scouting when he was a teenager. He was a member of the Order of the Arrow. Jeremy was a cable installer by trade and had previously been a house framer.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Lew Smith, his grandparents: Patricia Schneider, George and Laura Smith. He is survived by his mother, Leslie Smith Fisher; his siblings: Joshua, Benjamin, Becky, Laura, and Adam Smith; his sister-in-law, Mallory Smith; beloved nieces, Lucy and Molly; Grandpa Chuck Schneider; and his two dogs: Oreo and Lady Bird. He also left behind a large family of cousins, aunts and uncles who will mourn his untimely death.
Funeral Services
- Funeral services will be at Heideman Hughes Mortuary at 1037 East 700 South, St George, Utah at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014.
- A viewing will take place before the funeral from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Heideman Hughes Mortuary.
